Do I need to buy new hardware?
No. Gallesis runs in the browser of any reasonably recent device — Mac, PC, Android tablet, iPad. Your current payment terminal stays in service, and networked receipt printers (ESC/POS) are supported through a small local bridge.
Is there an app to install?
No — by design. Gallesis is a Progressive Web App (PWA): it installs to the home screen, updates itself on every deployment, and depends on no app store.
How do card payments work?
Honestly: today your staff takes the card on your existing terminal, then confirms the amount in Gallesis — integrated terminal support is on the roadmap. Cash, on the other hand, is fully managed: float, session, variance, journal.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The menu stays browsable thanks to the local cache, and every screen shows its connection state clearly. Submitting orders and taking payment require the connection — we prefer an honest state over an offline promise that would not hold.
Which languages?
French, German and English — for staff and guests alike, from the kiosk to online ordering. The language switches with one tap on every screen.
Where is my data? Is it safe?
On servers in Europe, with daily encrypted backups. Financial records are append-only: you can refund or void, never delete or rewrite. And each person reaches only what their role allows.
Can I start small?
Yes. Plans run from Start to Enterprise, and every module activates only when you decide — everything that touches money ships disabled by default. Changing plans requires no reinstallation.
What about Uber Eats or Just Eat delivery?
Gallesis runs your own delivery with your own couriers today. Third-party marketplace integrations are planned but not yet available — we do not sell what does not exist yet.
